The #SMR2009 Nominees Are…

Posted by Dave Konig at 14 December, 2009, 9:00 am

The Social Media Responder 2009 nominations closed last week on December 10. Over the course of 10 days we received over 200 nominations for 33 different responders/agencies. There were 2 nominations that were disqualified because they were featuring cruise line information, 1 nomination disqualified because they were featuring domestic tips, and 1 nomination disqualified because of their involvement with PIOSocialMediaTraining.com (sorry Greg).

Here is a list of the 29 nominated Social Media Responders in alphabetical order now being evaluated by the Judges:

We’d like to offer our congratulations to all of our nominees! Finalists will be named this Wednesday, December 16. Voting will be taking place here on PIOSocialMediaTraining.com.

The final free webinar presentation of 2009 will be held at 2:00pm EST on December 16. Click here to learn more and register for the webinar

Dave,

Check your links on here. A bunch of them have the tag attached at the end and breaking the link.

Thanks for catching that! Amazing what a lone missing quotation mark can do… it should be all better now.

Just so we are clear it is the total package right? What I mean is that if they were nominated on twitter then they are being judged on their blog/twitter/facebook/etc. right.

Maybe I am wrong, that is just how I saw it. It is kind a hard to judge someone on social media if the judges are only focusing on one piece of the puzzle.

Yes, total package… as long as the URL or Twitter account submitted linked to your blog, YouTube, Flickr, etc. … all those URLs were included for the judges.

Hey Bob,

We swapped out your Twitter link for your blog link in the post… the judges did have your blog link because you listed it on your Twitter profile. The list of nominees above is linked to what entity was nominated and qualified, so if your Twitter account got nominated that's what got linked, if your blog got nominated that's what got linked, etc.

Hope that clears up the method behind the madness!
