We are strong believers in leading by example. As such, the methodology that we provide in our training is what we ourselves have actually put into practice on this very site. Below you can see how we have put the concepts into practice and use them as a dynamic example for your own work:
- The Main Page - Our Hub
The Main Page is our Hub for all the activity here at PIOSocialMediaTraining.com. There are static non-changing elements of the page mixed with dynamic content that we want to highlight. This is done to both get our overall message across as well as provide our visitors with fresh specific content geared towards achieving our goal. - Our Blog
Our blog is the main source for dynamic and updated content. The entire site has been developed on the WordPress platform that has proven to be flexible enough to provide dynamic media within a static content setting. - Social Networks
We currently maintain a presence on the social network Facebook, utilizing their "Page" type of account. The content shown on the Facebook Page is a syndication of the content we publish here first. Our priority is not visits to our site, but rather the proliferation of our message. - Video Sharing Sites
We currently maintain a presence on video sharing sites YouTube and Viddler. We chose YouTube because of its strong search capabilities and Viddler because of it's enhanced self-branding options. - Micro-Blogging Sites
Our current micro-blogging platform of choice is Twitter. While the majority of our content will exceed 140 characters, Twitter offers us the ability to post information quickly while mobile and hold conversations we might otherwise not have the opportunity to have.
